Dear Brothers and Sisters:

 On behalf of our General Committee, welcome to our 
 website. It is our desire to make this webpage as 
 informative and educational as possible. It is an 
 ongoing project that we will continuously develop 
 and refine. To these goals we welcome any 
 suggestions or comments from our visitors. Please 
 do not hesitate to let our office know of any ideas 
 for improving our site you may have. 

 Our Committee is formally known as the Norfolk 
 Southern Northern Lines and Wheeling and Lake Erie 
 General Committee of Adjustment. We belong to the 
 Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen, 
 a member of the Rail Conference Division of the 
 International Brotherhood of Teamsters. 

 This Committee is comprised of thirty-three (33) 
 Local Committees of Adjustment. Thirty-one 
 represent the engineers on Norfolk Southern 
 properties and two (2) represent the trainmen and 
 engineers on the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad.  
 Geographically, our committee spans nine (9) 
 states; reaching west to Kansas City, MO, east to 
 Croxton, NJ, north to St. Thomas, Canada and south 
 to Weirton, WV. Our membership numbers are 
 currently a little less than two thousand (2000).
